Who Contacts You & Why

Last updated 8 August 2026

Why this page exists

When you tick the consent box on our eligibility form, you agree to be contacted. Under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act that consent is only meaningful if you can see who will be calling and how to make it stop. This page answers both, in plain language, with nothing hidden behind a link.

What happens after you submit the form

  1. You complete the eligibility check and tick the consent box.
  2. Your name, telephone number, email address and the answers you gave are transmitted to Fatless Living, together with a record of the consent wording you saw and the moment you agreed to it.
  3. Within a business hour or so, someone calls you. That call comes from Fatless Living or from a contact centre working under contract for us. Either way, they identify themselves as calling for Fatless Living.
  4. They confirm your details and answer your questions. Nothing is charged at this stage and no medication is ordered.
  5. If you decide to go further, your information is passed to a licensed telehealth provider who carries out a proper medical intake. From that point, that provider's own privacy notice and HIPAA protections apply to what you tell them.

Who is calling you

Fatless Living is the only party you are consenting to hear from. We do not sell your enquiry to a list of unrelated advertisers, and you will not start receiving calls about car insurance, solar panels or debt consolidation because you filled in this form.

Some calls, texts and emails are made by contact centres we engage. In legal terms they act as our agents: they work under written contract for us, they use our scripts, they identify themselves as calling for Fatless Living, they are bound by the same do-not-call obligations we are, and we audit them. Consent you give to us covers calls they make on our behalf. It does not give them permission to contact you about anything else, and it does not give them the right to pass your details on.

If somebody calls you referencing this website and will not say they are calling for Fatless Living, they are not authorised. Take the number, email it to privacy@fatlessliving.com, and we will investigate.

How often, and about what

ChannelWhat to expectSubject
TelephoneAn initial call, usually within one business hour. If you do not answer, a small number of follow-up attempts across the following days.Your eligibility result and how the programme works
Text messageA confirmation message, and reminders if you start but do not finish the medical intake. Frequency varies.Appointment and intake reminders
EmailYour eligibility result, a link to complete the intake, and occasional programme information.Programme information and offers

Calls may be placed using an automatic telephone dialing system and may use a prerecorded or artificial voice. Message and data rates may apply to texts. None of this is a condition of purchasing anything. If you would rather just talk to somebody without giving consent to be called, ring us on [TOLL-FREE NUMBER] instead.

We run Jornaya LeadiD, a product of Verisk Marketing Solutions, and may also run TrustedForm. These record your visit to the form: the exact consent wording displayed on your screen, whether you ticked the box, when you did it, and the device you used. They issue a unique certification token which is stored alongside your enquiry.

If it is ever disputed whether you agreed to be contacted, that token can be audited, and the audit can include a visual reconstruction of what was on your screen at the time. The record is kept for up to seven years.

This cuts both ways, deliberately. It means we can show that consent was properly obtained, and it means nobody can claim you consented when you did not.

How to stop being contacted

All of these work. None of them requires you to explain yourself, and none of them affects your ability to use the site or to buy anything later.

Withdrawal applies going forward. It cannot undo contact that has already happened, and it may take a short time for a message already queued to stop.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

The California Consumer Privacy Act and similar laws in other states define "sale" and "sharing" broadly. Our use of advertising cookies and pixels counts as sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising. Depending on how our commercial arrangements are structured, transferring your enquiry onward may count as a sale of personal information.

We would rather give you the opt-out than argue about the definition. To opt out of both:

You do not need an account. We will not charge you, delay you or give you a worse service for opting out. We do not sell or share the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16.

If you live in Washington, Nevada or Connecticut, you may withdraw consent to the collection, sharing and sale of your consumer health data — which includes your weight, your body mass index and any health condition you selected — by the same routes. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

If you send us traffic

Separately from everything above, we work with affiliates and publishers who advertise on our behalf. If that is you, these rules are part of your agreement with us and are not negotiable.

We audit traffic continuously. Breaches result in immediate termination and forfeiture of unpaid commission, and we will cooperate fully with any regulator or claimant who asks about them. To apply, or to ask whether something is permitted before you run it, email partners@fatlessliving.com.
